Very enjoyable fantasy 4x. Combat is similar to Conquest of Elysium, city building more like Master of Magic, magic like Dominions.

Had a lot of fun with it, but the sequel essentially supersedes this version.

Fun little incremental game, not overly long or grindy.

Well, this game sure shaped up well. It was kind of a mess at launch. But today, here in this Year of Our Lord 2025, this game is actually fun now. It isn't as good as Alpha Centauri, but that's such a high bar. What you will get is a very Civ5-like experience, wrapped around interesting ideas like the tech web and the affinity system for advancing unit capabilities.

Less serious Vampire Survivors in 3d

Low difficulty, survival elements don't really matter, but it was fun anyway playing with efficient layouts and exploring the systems. 100% took about ten hours. Will probably do a second play-through in a few years.

Mild management, wild story, good aesthetics and music.

I paid 73 cents for this after taxes, and I'm still disappointed. There is nothing here. You control a robot avatar and walk up to a car to get in, then drive along an empty road while music plays. If you touch the sides of the road, you lose. There are no obstacles other than the edge of the road.

For some reason, the robot avatar can enter the back seats, in which case you can't even start driving. You have to get out and walk forward a bit and interact with a front door in order to drive. Why is this there? Who knows.

With a few mods to correct some lingering bugs, this is one of my favorite builders to come back to. It oozes theme, the fake radio stations are catchy, and the various options and breakthrough techs keep playthroughs from feeling too similar.
