After having played Disgaea 2, 4, 5 and 6.
I can say that Disgaea 7 is a great game!
I like that they listened to their players and solved all the issues of the poor delivery of D6, and not only did they solve them but they added very fun and unique features like Jumbification.

I'm not going to talk about the story, but at the gameplay level, you could say that it is like playing an improved Disgaea 5 in 3D

If you are a fan of disgaea: Play the game dood, what are you waiting for?.

If you've never played Disgaea, give it a try...
You have two routes:
- Play Disgaea PC (D1)
- Play Disgaea 5

In my opinion, I recommend that you play Disgaea 5 first, because I feel that it is much more friendly for newcomers, then you can continue with the one you want.
You can play each Disgaea your way, there is no rule or guide on how to play, it is up to your imagination, and that makes it super exciting, being able to discover your own methods of how to improve your characters to turn them into gods that destroy universes.

In D7 we have new unique and fun mechanics such as Jumbification, Item Reincarnation, Demon Shogi, among other things

About classes:
In this game we have 45 classes (4 new classes). A big improvement from 22 in D6!

About soundtrack:
As always the OST' never dissapoints, this one has a very japan flavor that is very unique and very fun to listen to.

About Demonic Intelligense (DI):
You do not want to grind in postgame? No worries DI is here, you can develop your own algorithm to do that, also you have Demon Shogi.
In DS, You are given predefined characters with fixed stats and must defeat the enemies only with those characters. But, you cannot control your characters directly; rather, you must use Demonic Intelligence to input preset commands that your characters will execute after.

About Item world:
It's fun but i miss the crazy geo crystals configurations from Disgaea 2 and 5, like...
You go to the item world and you find a bunch of geo panels with nothing.. come on, i think that this IW is missing something like pirates in D4 on Invasors and random Eggs in D5

About Postgame:
The postgame of this game is good, but I feel that it falls very short compared to other Disgaea's like 1, 2 and 4 with extra campaigns and scenarios

About DLC:
You have a lot of chracters of others Disgaea,
With the value of the game, I feel that they could have given voices to the dlc and/or added their corresponding maps as in 4 and 5 or at least updated the voices of the characters when they perform an action such as attacking or a special, they have the same voice recording in all disgaea, I feel like they could have renewed them...

About Online AI Battles:
I don't really understand the purpose, at first they are fun, but when you get people with postgame equipment, they destroy you. And by the time you get to that point, the reward is not the best, I feel like it could be divided better, since the idea itself is very fun.

Netherworld Sightseeing:
I liked the idea of being able to revisit the cleared netherwolrds and find secrets.

Character and item Reincarnation.
Do you like to reincarnate your character to make him stronger? Well, now you can also reincarnate the items (weapons, shields, symbols, etc.) so that they obtain unique properties that improve not only the statistics of your character but also give them unique things.

In general, I must say that I really liked the game, that's why I decided to play it until the end until I completed it. If you've already played other Disgaea games, I highly recommend that you try this one and then tell me what you think.

ps: Baal la tenes adentro.

Highly recommended!

They did an excellent job with this remake. It's a lot of fun for both new players and those who played the original.
Graphically, it's beautiful and colorful.
The game is pretty cinematic.
Also with the updated soundtrack they used for the remake version they did back then, it brings more life to the game even.
At first, I found it strange that some of the voices (Japanese voice actors) weren't the same as in the original game, but I have to admit they did a fantastic job.

The new battle system is great, you don't use it much at first, but believe me, you'll use it a ton and combine it with the turn-based system.
I love that the game keeps the same vibe as the original, that chill old-school RPG vibe.
The story is the same as the original.

As I always say: My favorite game series so far!!!
If you've never played a Trails game, what better way to start than from the beginning? It's definitely the best path.

I'm really looking forward to playing the remake of SC (Second Chapter).
