Another co-op masterpiece from Hazelight just like A Way Out and It Takes Two,
with some of the most fun, creative and chaotic gameplay I've ever experienced in any game.

Every single level ranged from excellent to truly brilliant with expertly designed sections and extremely creative mechanics.
Eventually it got to a point where I realized I've said "that's so cool" so many times that I got tired of repeating it.

Compared to It Takes Two this game felt faster-paced and more action-packed which also made it harder and less casual, but that's a good thing in my opinion.
Furthermore, while I could easily pick a favorite level in It Takes Two, here it's much harder because nearly every level featured standout, memorable sections.

Even the optional side stories, designed to add even more variety into each level, matched the main levels in quality – delivering shorter, but equally remarkable moments. Especially the sci-fi side stories which were consistently some of the most action packed levels in the game.

Overall, just like Hazelight's previous titles, this is definitely one of my favorite games. Absolutely recommended for anyone with a co-op partner.

As someone who really likes linear story driven games, the "A Plague Tale" series became one of my favorite series of games.
Everything from graphics and gameplay, to voice acting and of course rats, everything in this game is top notch and a scale up from the previous game.

The graphics are truly incredible, every chapter there was a section where I had to pause to take a screenshot and each time it was a completely different environment.

But what really made me attached to this series is the story. The story and the characters which are incredibly well done with good character development and storytelling. You can feel how the events of the first game changed them.

Personally I still think I preferred the first game but this was definitely a very worthy successor that brought a good, albeit difficult (as per A Plague tale), conclusion to the games that I very much enjoyed playing.

So if you like linear story driven games, this and the first one are a must play.

and that ending was insane tho
