Interesting concept for a game, but boring gameplay loop, and the story and worldbuilding just fall flat.

To learn about the game world, you look at a highlighted thing, call character over to tell you a sentence about the thing, blow your whistle to open the exposition room and get a paragraph about the thing, then go back to the game loop until you unlock or stumble on the next highlighted thing.

The boring gameplay doesn't motivate to get to the next story beat, and the lackluster story doesn't motivate to go through the gameplay. I can't even be any less vague, because mentioning any detail spoils what little is there.

It's fun to ape out.

This is a game with hundreds of dollars of DLC, and then the devs decided to add pay to win style microtransactions after promising to never add microtransactions at all.
