The lesson.... Don't torrent ♥♥♥♥. just get it legally. Lots of streaming services, you tube is free. What ever, but when you torrent you get ♥♥♥♥ from many different people around the world and it can be monitored. Law enforcement can set traps, put torrents out there, watch you download it and show up at your front door the next day to arrest you when you had no idea what was in the file you downloaded. And if you want to fight the state, then they can turn it over to the feds and they will go for international copy right violations. This brings huge penalties and there's no getting out early on federal charges. I've heard of old women getting million dollar fines for downloading something illegally.

So you all know. At a request of friends he torrented a Grateful Dead discography and sent it to them through Skype. He never decompressed the file to look through it. Skype monitored the transmission and the file had illegal images embeded in it. That's how he got in trouble. If he didn't take a plea, he would be in prison the rest of his life.

Guilty until proven inoccent? There hasn't been a trial. It's Arizona with a for profit prison system. He's not in prison but they people lined up. Some people there have been waiting for trial for years since they can't afford bail or a private attorney. He's not accused of doing anything to a minor, it's possession of illegal material in respect, but there are 3 other room mates. It's sketchy. I'm not jumping to any conclusions without all the facts, especially when there's been no trial. Imagine being locked up for hundred or more days waiting for your day in court. That's Arizona. Do you all blindly trust law enforcement anyway? I know too many people who got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, so, that's all I'l say for now.
