I was a bit sceptical about getting this as I only recently played through the first one on the switch and wasn't sure if this game would be different enough to keep me interested. Well after playing I can safely say this game stands on its own as an unique experience. I would say the new main character along with the story isn't quite as good as Hades 1 but I would say the sheer amount of content makes up for this as you can do a run going up to the surface or down to the depths. I'm a fan of the arcana cards and the pets. The hex's are also a good addition.
