The business model here is laughable. There are not enough servers to play the game, and in order to create a server you have to pay. They're shooting out their own kneecaps by forcing payment before many can even try the game. One of the silliest f2p models I've seen yet.

Damn I wanted to like this game, but the community's toxicity and the developer's hesitancy to do anything to slight their long time core fanbase of < 100 users has driven the game into the ground. You will wait a non-negligible amount of time for a game, and then you will be pummeled by try hards, and then they will tell you how they would treat your mother. Good idea, bad execution.

1400 hours and I'm still bad

As someone who came into this without an understanding of pixel art, but with a lot of experience in programs like Photoshop and Illustrator, the transition to this was seamless. The community support in places like Reddit or Twitter is very helpful and welcoming, and the frequency of updates is seemingly unrivaled. The workflow to programs like Unity is easy to understand and natural. Can't recommend enough.

Fun and competitive non shooter.

Maybe I was in the wrong mindset, but this game suffers from the same issues many of these mafia-like games have: it's overly complicated despite the developer's best intentions to teach the community how to play. The jargon used in chat is nearly impossible to understand unless you want to get yelled at for 3 or 4 games for doing it wrong or saying something you shouldn't have. It took me way longer to get into the game, then to get yelled at, than it was worth to bother learning the way the game is ACTUALLY played, after trying to spend the time to learn how the devs intended it to be played.

Lives up to it's GIF hype, only just barely. You will likely have to play the game several times to achieve anything other than wild shooting and spinning, though it feels like a game worth seeing a couple times.

Huge amount of content for the price, especially on sale. Got a good three or four hours out of this game and I'll probably wind up playing it again. Very fun.

Unplayable in it's current state. Game drops frames when you shoot a gun, terrible optimization. Wait for a full release don't frustrate yourself and wonder what it could have been.
EDIT for the keyboard warriors who seem to think it's my PC: 1070, 12GB of RAM, and an i7. Game looks like hot trash and still can't hold a framerate during particle effects. I'm still playing and when it's fixed I'll update my review. Stop crying.

Good solid game for early access VR. Bots are dumb as rocks but there seems to be an okay community playing right now. For oculus users, there is a snap turn system but it's horrible. It works if you're dying to try this game out but it needs a lot of adjustment. You're going to find yourself lost a lot when using it. Everything else on oculus seems to function just fine. Fun for the price!
