This game is a lot of fun. But the multiplayer keeps disconnecting my friends with no way to reconnect. I've yet to actually be able to finish a game.

It's absolutely wild how many people have made it their personal vendetta to make sure others don't enjoy this game. They were disappointed by the game - to each their own. But they can't stand it that other people dare to call this game good. It keeps them up at night that other people enjoyed something that they did not. (And pray that nobody notices their 150 hours on record)

Don't let the bitter fools' ire make you biased, this game is a wonder. The atmosphere alone is enough to make it great - but it's got top notch shooter mechanics to round it out. The plot allows you to be as committed to it as is your preference, and your interaction with other characters can dramatically change the final outcome of the game. I don't know how the awards are going to land after they do, but this is the game of the year in my book.

(I played this game on both PC and PS5)

The gameplay's a lot of good fun, and it performs really well on moderate hardware too. The visuals are 10/10, and it's got a good amount of replayability.

First impressions are very good. They seem to have brought in a lot of features last seen in Civ 3, but updated them. Considering how good Civ 3 was, this is definitely a good thing.

No Man's Sky at release looks like a beta compared to what it is now. If you wanted to buy it back when it came out, but were then turned off by the reviews, it's now become everything you wanted it to be.

The steam controller is perfect for playing many games which are traditionally "mouse required" games on the couch.

I've been a PC gamer for my entire life. I didn't start playing anything on consoles until about the last 4ish years... but I've gamed on PC for as long as I've been alive. Because of this, while I am quite comfortable playing games with a controller, there's something about playing with a keyboard and mouse that makes games feel more "real" to me.

Well this controller has managed to extend that "real" onto the couch. The mousepad-like joystick control makes me feel like I'm using a mouse, all while fitting in the palm of my hand. The haptic feedback also makes it really feel like you're moving some mechanical part around.

I would highly recommend this for traditionally PC gamers who want to play games on the couch. If you've played console games most of your life, it will take a bit more getting used to, but there's still no better way to play games like Civilization on the couch.
