Pros: Solid combat that requires thinking and skill, interesting world and lore, great soundtrack, fantastic bosses (Ornstein and Smough especially), fun PVP, and lots of variety in the ways to take out enemies and bosses.

Cons: Does occasionally have some issues with giving direction, the framerate is bad without DSFix most of the time, and some unfair moments.

Overall: great game, currently my favorite Action RPG. Definitely give it a shot if you like difficult games, just don't rush into any fights spamming attacks, you'll get wrecked.
