A friend told me that he plays this game between customer meetings. That's definitely not me.

This is such a fun and good game to play from time to time with friends. Even when the scariness of the game fades away since you expect certain behaviours from enemies, there's always something new and random that happens when you are playing with other people.

Honestly, considering I played this much (150 hours) on this game, it says everything I need to say, but in summary:
Chinese BF2042 that is free to play. Take it as you want.

Bad things about it are the constant pop-ups and skins, some of which feel super out of place with the characters. I get it, gotta make money, but come on. You attempt to make it a serious war-like game, and then you include these characters that are glowing around, and it sometimes breaks the immersion.

Personally, I do not care too much about those, since when you get into gameplay, the whole thing changes. The game feels super smooth and the movement is nice. In this aspect, it feels quicker and more intense than BF2042, which I like.

There's a lot of chaos, but I notice that there's a bigger distinction than I initially thought between the two games. Delta Force leans heavier into the characters and a little bit less into the vehicles. There are vehicles for sure, but I do notice that in BF2042 there's a lean towards vehicles that Delta Force does not have.

Additionally, and solely considering that I play Warfare, which is the Battlefield mode, there's a free campaign and a free Tarkov gamemode. I think this game does a lot right, and some small things wrong.

Also, free to play, come on. You cannot complain about content or even the skins since nothing truly feels pay-to-win.

Overall, really strong suggestion for anybody who does not want to pay for BF2042 or just wants an alternative. Super fun with friends too.

I think it's a pretty alright game.

I played Delta Force a lot when it came out, and I obviously see that they blatantly copied BF2042, however sometimes they actually did things better. I think both are good (not great) games, but obviously one being free to play and the other one costing 60 bucks.

I think it is insane that they released this game in the state that they did and thought: "Oh yeah, this is going to be a game people are going to enjoy."
People have been begging for years and years for a game that is grounded and feels similar to BF3 and BF4.

They did some of this in this game in BF3 portal modes, but that's pretty much it. It is unfortunate that they leaned into this agent/hero kind of game when it was already past their time.

Battlefield was always known for the destruction, massive maps and chaos all around. Some of the epicness obviously stays and I have felt genuine enjoyment out of this.

But again, it was 2.95 euro. If I paid 60 bucks for this game back when it released I'd be pissed.

BF6 seems to finally go back into the direction we were looking for, but let's see how they mess it up.

Overall pretty good game for 2.95 euro.

I always had a thing for these kind of social games, especially once I got internet in my house back in the day. It's been a long while since I felt this same feeling I used to feel.

It's a genuinely great game, it has pretty obvious AC inspiration, but the twist of the social aspect and the fact that it feels more geared towards adults makes it really nice. Community is super nice as well.

So far no complaints, there's enough content for hours and hours, and even if you 100% complete it, the social aspect makes it easy to come back just to talk with people.

Totally recommended.

There is not much to say. The game is really as good as everyone states. Everyone has their own experiences with the game, but you most likely will feel stuck or with no way to advance at some point. Do not let that deceive you. The game is a masterpiece in writing and setting.

I will just say this, if you enjoy exploration and a good story that will spark your curiosity, this may be just what you were looking for and did not even know it.

The base game is really cool. Almost obligatory getting DLC 1 after playing for some time for further enjoyment :) Also really good with friends, but playing alone is also an enjoyable experience.
