I don't usually accept random friend requests out of the blue. Leaving a comment tells me that you've read my profile, and that means I'll think about accepting. I may probably accept if we've played in the same server or game before.
Also note that I very rarely, if ever will start conversations on Steam. I'll almost definitely respond if you talk to me, though!
