This game is a loosely strung together skeleton of 20% - 60% completed independent ideas, and basically a bad joke as an aggregate. Each of the ideas feels like it could have been *so* much more than what you get. We may never know why each of these arguably cool concepts was dumbed down - maybe to hit a deadline? Because there was no clear vision for the whole project? It really doesn't matter now, because the game is, as the sum of its parts, a soulless monotonous mess.

The more time you spend with it, the more you become attuned to how it's an overwhelmingly awkward patchwork of missed opportunities. The mental gymnastics required to keep yourself believing in such a weak framework will, in all likelihood, eventually fall apart for you, too.

That said, I've got my NG+10 duder filed away, holding out for a game-fixing overhaul or DLC that will probably never come.

It pays to look up how the game works before assigning skills / perks etc, but apart from that, I urge you to dive the frick in.

Fallout Borderlands KOTOR with sassy dialog and a SH*TLOAD of loot and upgrades. I dig it.

I'm STUNNED by how much fun I'm having playing this game. A big thanks to it's creator and all those that support it.

The feeling of progess is palpable. I started with a bank loan and a tiny ship. Now I have around eighty much bigger ships. And apparently, there's a whole storyline I haven't even seen yet! (I'm 27 hours deep)

This game is also free.

So, if you're on the fence about this, you should play this f*cking game. It's satisfying as HECK.
