I could really get behind the eldritch storytelling narrative to the point where it felt extremely compelling to keep playing. The art style is grand and the game play loop is fun to engage with. There are several different minigames that make up the core loop with each balancing out how the fishing occurs. The monsters are intriguing and keep up the tension without being extremely unfair or over bearing. The only thing I can consider to finish fleshing out the experience, would be some form of pressure to keep the player moving along the story. Since it was quite easy to just take an obscene amount of time to complete the objectives. A wonderfully paced and compelling game.

I got 3 quarters of the way through this one and only came back to it after a year and a half. And boy howdy am I sure glad I did. The final boss was awesome, the story concluded excellently. 8/10 game, it got kinda boring up until the end.

The first hand full of hours are great. The pacing is nice, the concept and lore somewhat interesting, and the game is legitimately nice. However, during the midpoint of the game, celestial leaves decide to ruin the entire experience. The pacing comes to a grinding halt and leaves the player nothing to do but afk for hours on end just to make minimal amounts of progress when there is still more game. I have never been so disappointed to get my hopes up for a game. Then again, its probably my fault for believing in an idle game for once. I guess you get what you pay for.

So as it turns out, there is this really neat indie game called mine sweeper that this game takes a little inspiration from. The only difference is that you can click the numbers in this game. Absolutely bonkers
