I played this both in VR (Quest 2) and in desktop with friends against bots.
Overall, I would fully recommend this game for those who want to immerse themselves in being a tank crew!

The real experience comes from VR!
Being able to look around in the tank freely, interacting with the handles and switches is really immersive.
Definitely recommend playing this game sitting down. You're in a tank, after all.

Playing this in desktop is not too bad. It's still quite fun, but definitely doesn't beat VR.
The camera controls aren't the cleanest, but they are alright once you get the hang of it
(My middle finger though, has felt quite the discomfort)

I come after replaying Highway Blossoms (after the remastering), and man did I love it the first time I played it and still do love it.

I'll assume you've read a synopsis somewhere so I can keep this shorter.

There are so many lovable and/or memorable characters in this VN.
Yes, even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and disgusting ones.
I'm talking about you two, Mariah and "Jumbo". Ugh.

Anywho, the two characters that really take the spotlight are Amber and Marina! (Duh, they're the main characters)
They are full of likable traits and full of personality. The interactions they have with each just really make you want to support them on all their travels and relationship ;). They are truly characters you can connect to and enjoy while on their adventures.
I just really like them, okay? Amber is so reliable and steadfast, but also soft and endearing at times. And Marina is just so adorable. So adorable.

The trio that they keep encountering on their travels are just as memorable as Amber and Marina. The main duo and the trio's interactions really spice the Visual Novel and give many memorable events throughout the entire story. Dammit Tess, why do you have to be adorable as well?

All the voice actors did really well in their roles too. They really made the characters feel alive; from the main chracters to all the side characters. I'm the type of person who isn't a fan of dubbed anime, but they did it really well. You will not be disappointed in thier performance. Trust me. ^-^

The writing makes all of this even all the better. And since I mentioned it...

Long story short, it's great. The plot, the drama, the scenarios, the characters, they're all so well written! I really felt the love and hard work put into the writting. The story goes at a nice and steady pace; not too fast, not too slow. You will not get bored nor left unsatisfied. You can even get a full playthrough in one day and be perfectly fine. You can trust me on this one too, I hope. (-.- ;)

The story pulls all of your strings, from heartstrings, to all the adrenaline pumps, to deep in the feels. The romance is something that you can believe developed over the entire game and you can feel the action/suspense at those moments it gets tense (not like shooting action, you know what I mean, I hope).
I played this game twice and still got hit with the feels. It's just so heartwarming too.

I'm the type of person to really like cute anime-styled art. Like, really like. The artstyle of this game isn't like that though, but I love the art of this game anyway. I think it's a great balance. Not overactively cute, but beautiful. From the character designs to the background CGs, I think the artsyles are great.

One thing I'd like to critique a bit is of the inconsistent artstyles of the CGs within the game. There were quite a few artists that worked on the game, so it's no surprise the CGs don't have all the same style to them, but I still sometimes felt a small disconnect when the CG events came on. The CGs are nice and wonderful, but it's just something that irked me a little. But in my opinion, it's a small dent in an otherwise wonderful game. I can't exactly have a reliable review if I just kept chanting praises and all. :D

All in all, TL;DR, I like this VN. I love it. I know you'll like it too.
