I love this game. It's the best 40K game ever released.

If you're into classic games (in particular those of the role playing variety) then it doesn't get much better than the original Fable. Having long possessed Fable: The lost chapters on PC, I was curious to see how the graphics and gameplay had been altered for the anniversary edition; I wasn't disapointed. The graphics are a visible step-up from the vanilla game and the gameplay, which was near perfect at the time of its release, fortunatley remains unchanged.

Some small changes have been made though. The save system of the original game has been altered in this version. The ability to Hero Save has been scrapped, consequently removing game breaking exploits allowing your character to rapidly level up. The reason for this I suspect is to make the new heroic mode, which is essentially normal Fable but markedly more difficult, that little bit more challenging. There are a couple of features that I wish the devlopers had included in the anniversary edition such as an option to switch between the vanilla and anniversary versions of the game but otherwise I'm very happy with the game. Well worth buying and a practical steal when on sale. 8/10.
