A space sim lite gameplay with a Bethesda worth of quests to explore and play. You give up Elite's flight model and the depth of NMS crafting system to get a Skyrim worth of RPG gameplay.

On the traditional Bethesda side of things, you basically carry your incredibly customizeable home with you. Your very own Prydewen to build and customize like you want. Your spaceship. As for the RPG? Forget about Skyrim's racial traits, in this game you can pick between 21 different backgrounds that go from Bounty Hunter to explorer passing by stuff like bouncer, chef or even sculptor. On top of that you can pick 3 traits that can further customize your character.

The game is much more of a sandbox compared to Skyrim and, especially, Fallout 4, don't go in expecting a central narrative holding you by hand and telling you a nice story. This is all about YOUR character, YOUR story adn what YOU do with it.

I don't know how to fly this thing, I love it!

It's still a bit raw, but it's clearly marked as Early Access and it's from the original creator of KSP so that's a bit of trust to be put regarding post sale support, good luck Harvester and thanks for another fantastic game.

At first glance the game seems fun and probably is once you unlock something that isn't that glorified flying bike they give you as a starting plane.

To reiterate on that the "tutorial" is beyond boring, requiring you to take 6 partial flights just to do a runway loop and the progression is boring as well, after grinding it for an hour and unlocking the first 2 airport I gave up while grinding again to unlock the first (maybe) real plane as the refund window was closing.
