Welcome and thank you for visiting the Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics and Computing (or simply Missouri Academy ). We are an early-entrance-to-college , two-year residential school , located on the beautiful campus of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri . Qualified students attend the Missouri Academy for two years, replacing the 11th and 12th grade years of traditional high school. While at the Missouri Academy, students are enrolled in a rigorous curriculum consisting of all college coursework taught by professors at Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU). Upon successful completion, students earn an Associate of Science degree as well as a high school diploma. This is an opportunity for high performing and exceptional students to live, socialize and study in a living/learning community of peers. Unfortunately, however, this ambitious project will come to an end following the Spring 2018 semester, after 18 years of grand journey, as the NWMSU could no longer provide the financial support necessary.
