In all seriousness, if you want a good strategy game that you can come back to at any time and sink an unhealthy amount of hours into, then this is it! You can create and play as almost any sort of empire you want, and they are constantly expanding the possibilities. Out of all the Paradox games, I feel that this has stayed truest to its original form while building one of the most expansive and complex strategy games available.

Almost 9 years after release and this game still holds up! I'm still discovering new ways to play and always finding new situations to mess around with. I don't see myself buying another Civ game for quite some time. You won't regret your purchase!
