Gameplay wise it builds upon everything the first game had tenfold, so many QOL improvements to the existing tools and adds so many new fun ones as well. Picks up amazingly from the end of the first game and doesn't take too long to get going unlike it's predecessor, the story itself has been extremely engaging and it's been hard to set aside main orders to chip away at the standard orders. Game runs extremely well and looks amazing in HDR, if you have an OLED monitor this is one of the best games I've seen to show it off, the addition of the day/night cycle is extremely cool. If you enjoyed the first game in ANY capacity picking DS2 up is a no brainer, bravo Kojima, you've done it again.
