This game is down right awful, from the glaring bugs that make most tracks impossible to have fun on, to the weird looking graphics, it just isn't good. If you wreck on most tracks, don't expect a caution to come out, because it usually won't, or if it does, it will take 10 years to come out, even if you collect half the field and are flipping all the way into the grandstands.

It's amazing how NASCAR Heat 5, a game that is a direct copy and paste of Heat 4 with 2020 drivers and was heavily criticized by the community during its life cycle, is a much more polished and fun experience. This game lacks key features, like owning a team, making a custom character, it lacked stage racing until recently, a rear view mirror (seriously why), the ability to see tire wear, fuel, and the level of damage to your car, and the ability to change the level of fuel usage and tire wear, making it so that if you run a 15% race, the AI's won't pit, because they won't have to. Which is another issue, because you can easily cheese any race by some how getting a caution, and then pitting to get fresh tires and blowing past the entire field.

One of few good features is drivers retiring and being replaced in career, but they still manage to screw this up. When a driver is replaced, the only thing that changes it the name above the car, it will still say the old driver's name ON the car, but it will have a new person's name above it, the same goes when you replace a driver in career, it will still say the old driver's name on the car. You also won't get rookie strips on your car, unless the person you replaced was a rookie. They also don't go away after the season ends.

The racing is hit or miss. Road courses are fun, unless you accidentally cut the course, then you essentially lose a lap, and don't spin, because you won't get a caution, even if you take people out and are sitting in the middle of the track, you won't get a caution. Intermediate tracks aren't bad either, but they tend to be more super speedway light than anything else, except Texas, which sucks in real life and in game. Super speedway races are boring, mainly because the AI gets super spread out, sometimes leading to them constantly pulling away because they are in a 2 car pack, while you are by yourself. Short tracks are glitchy and not fun, enough said. Tracks like Dover, Darlington, and New Hampshire aren't anything special, except for Darlington which is the best track in the game hands down. It for some reason races really well IMO. A lot of tracks seem to have places where if you hit them, you just spin. Turn 4 Charlotte is a great example of this, as if you don't drive it just right, you'll just go around and spin into the pitlane. This is also how all of Dover is, at least for me.

The art style is so good in this game, and I enjoyed the story. The first ending I got actually shocked me, along with the next 2 I got after lol

Really good for wallpapers, however it can be hard to find a normal background in the sea of NSFW backgrounds. You can also use videos (have only tried webm and mp4, but they both work pretty well) and gifs.

it is actually been 42 years since an american driver has won a grand prix. however the last driver to do it also had won the daytona 500, so they are kinda multi talented. US get good at F1 pls, even tho every open wheel driver to come to nascar hasn't had success (tony stewart and jeff gordon are the only ones that i can think of)

doki doki rainclouds > doki doki literature club but not by a wide margin

it isn't terrible, but it really isn't worthy of 3 dollars. the atmosphere that the game has is great, HOWEVER, the fact that walking to the store is more intense than actually being in the store kind of speaks volumes for the game. being in the store doesn't really make me want to continue. kinda wacko tbh
