Early Access Review
Essentially a Project Reality 2. Still in the works, but this format is extremely promising. Loving it already.

ArmA 3 is a game that focuses on realism without sacrificing all the fun.
What you get with the game:

-Multiplayer. Many mods (or to be more accurate, missions with scripts) are out there like Wasteland, DayZ (the mod, not the standalone game), CTI (Capture-the-Island, which is like a Conquest mode from Battlefield with a huge map and ArmA gameplay), Domination (which is fairly similar, only it's against AI).
-"Competitive" Multiplayer. What this means is that you can experience the "real" ArmA experience. What this means is joining up with clans and operating as a team, as a real army would. This in my opinion is the definitive way to play ArmA3.
Clans like this are things like http://www.reacheliteforces.com/ . Look it up if interested. There are many clans out there, just browse the Steamcommunity ArmA3 forums.
-Like a dozen showcases which show and demonstrate the new features of ArmA3.
-Around a dozen challenges (firing drills) to where you can compete for a better time or train.
-3 campaigns, each around ~3-4 hours long (note: only one of them is out so far, second campaign comes on Jan 21st.)
-Editor where you can do what the hell you want and can create your own missions or scenarios.
-Steam Workshop missions! Download missions made by other players with a click and around two seconds, and play them, rate them. Hundreds of missions are on Steam Workshops, plenty to choose from.

BE ADVICED HOWEVER: This game can be a pretty damn big machine hog. You need a pretty decent to PC to play this game appropriately, even more so for the multiplayer.

Definately a game of it's own.
Not many games pull off serious realism and fast-paced action. This game did it.

Had a rocky launch in 2011, but by now the "FREE" DLC is out and it carried serious patches with it, game is stable and fine as it is at the moment.

Playerbase isn't huge, but stable. You can ALWAYS find a full match with acceptable ping regardless of time.

Great game, one of the best and deepest shooters out there nowadays.

But please, for gods sake, DON'T EVEN TRY playing it alone. It's not meant to be played that way.
Find an outfit of your liking and play with them as a team. Seriously.

CS:GO Review
Changed a lot from the early stages of the game, so much better now.
If you didn't like it when it was released, it's about time you re-visit it.

One of the best free to play shooters out there.
Customization is top notch.

Also.
IT'S FREE. Try it.
