I'm not saying that this is a perfect game. There are definitely bugs, some are 4 stories tall. And the robot coding leaves a lot to be desired; seems they're a bit homicidal.

But this game is definitely a democratic one.

LIBERTY FOR ALL!

Parkitect is the spiritual successor to RCT, but without Activision getting its paws on it. Interface is clean and easy to understand, and the game is well optimized. I can run it on my PC or my Mac with no issues, which is really nice. I don't always have access to my gaming PC, and to be able to run it on the Mac's lower-spec processor and graphics card when I'm away from home (with no problems) is awesome.

Buy this game, you won't be disappointed.

I first played this, I don't know, many months ago. I kind of forgot about it for a while, due to a new kid being born and not sleeping and crying all the time (me, not the kid... well, OK, me AND the kid.)

So I go back to play it recently, and there is nobody online.

Not one. Single. Player.

Further, when I tried to start up a server just to see what has changed... it stays on the loading screen. None of the listed ways of helping (firewall exceptions, disabling antivirus) helped.

A pity; this game had some real potential. Now it's just a steaming pile of russian deer turd.
