Love the journey on threads, love the open dialogue with feedback, love the care it's getting with each update. Nostalgic of our NES/Arcade classics with some new surprises and mechanics - beyond proud of the work accomplished here. Here's to see it getting more of the attention ass needed and polish to shine brighter on this platform.

Early Access Review
I went in expecting an iota of a EQ1 feel and felt like the only this mess captured was my time and money. It's not even near any other EA game i've played and don't think it should have been released at this stage. The available classes feel barren, the way it introduces you into mechanics or features are misleading or not working as described, the combat is riddled with bugs and errors - it really feels like newcomer/first time developers made a semi working high school project and this is show and tell of just how not to go into EA release. Wouldn't recommend this to my EQ1 buds at this time.

I liked the story, reminded of an old school anime OVA where you have some major plots and then in between antics, think Tenchi Muyo! but that's it, this game was so frustrating in every aspect. This was my first RF game and i don't know if it's the same across but this had some mechanics that made no sense at all.

The inventory management is horrible, just trying to toss things out or navigate in it is a mess
The one storage thing for everything has no filter that makes it worth it (though I did just find out recently you can switch between all your storage spaces from the chest, that i liked)
The lock on is absurd, where I have like a chest lock on to toss some things into it but a character in the screen appears, not between you and the chest, behind you while aiming at the chest, you end up giving the NPC the things you were tossing or the monster gets it.
Targeting mines and wood is asinine as well, even with the button indicating you got the node selected and looking at it, it misses and keeps going a few times after you released the buttons spending your RP out on nothingness.
Lock on on enemies is a joke as well as switching and if that monster gets to far to the edge of the screen you start targeting everything else from allies to treasure chest (which you can break and it'll disappear because you hit it)
Nothing is explained well in terms of figuring out what holidays or events coming up are hoping for you to do until the day before with Simone telling you but it's tool ate for anything if you haven't been preparing for it the whole "year".
Monster taming needs a new word for how stressful that was, once in your barn, the constant running around, the camera views to see if you got the right one targets and right one confirms you interacted with it, chasing through all the barn doors, pushing against you for the ones you did get to like you in that orgy of hellspace in there.
I'm an old fart too so seeing these kids and the way they act seems more kid like, i didn't pursue any of the romances cause it felt too weird for me. that's more of a pref thing but i was not into it where you had adults that looked like adults in there, Elsj, Simone, etc compared to the visuals for the NPCs you can interact with..

Currently also playing Sun Haven and it's currently filling the void that this game couldn't compare to in terms of everything above listed.
I'll add to this later cause it was just that annoying and i was genuinely trying to figure out ways to make it easier, skills to make it better but nothing down the road seemed to make any of this stuff worthwhile to deal with. I keep seeing 4 is better and maybe should have started there but this one has honestly left such a bad impression that I don't think i'll be get anything else from them.

This isn't only a game about appreciating all our Tromboners of yesteryear, but also about appreciating the amount of hot dogs they've been known to eat! A huge missed-out count that even our school history texts fail to mention for our non-Tromboner counterparts!

Was a fantastic game in my opinion. The game play was a bit of a curve in attacks but the mechanics for all the other tools and their use was quite brilliant! There was one level that was a bit jarring for vets but overall, still added to the story and felt like i really connected with that area and character.

Oh, and give Dave that high five!

This captures the true sprit of the boardgame for sure. I can't roll ♥♥♥♥ to save my life or make attacks and it was ported perfectly to this game. Still loving it!

I'm a piggy back the othe rcomment, 2560x1080 support would be awesome, nonetheless, not a deal breaker at all. I love this game and i feel like this is a great port of the game that I can play with family and friends across great distances. With this version, you get a few free matches to play, but have to pay about 15 bucks to get the base game and the two expansions Cities and Knights and Seafarer. I do feel like if you have the Tabletop Sim edition and content with that, this just adds ability to play tourneys and records held. For me, it was that plus the look and feel of this vs the Tabletop Sim module and just being an avid fan, needed it on my digital "shelfie" collection.
