one of the more challenging games in the series imo, but that's kinda nice after the low difficulty of TH17 and TH18. the game shoves resources (and screen clears) down your throat which also helps lower that difficulty a bit. the incident stones are a really fun gimmick that lead to some interesting strategies and make each run feel fresh.

if you're looking for a hero shooter kind of thing, it's not bad other than its poor optimization and matchmaking but you really should spend your limited, valuable time on this planet on other things.

fun game, easy to get into, good atmosphere. i wish skin was real

if you like: JRPGs, rimworld, the early fallouts, stardew valley, pmd, and classic roguelikes, you'd probably enjoy this

this game is really really good. if the screenshots look even remotely like something you'd enjoy i'd highly recommend. huge variety of really well designed content, music and visuals are really nice, and it's just incredibly fun. it also has a nice balance of a surreal artsy environment and heartwarming characters. it's also one of the best bullet hell style games for beginners to the notoriously difficult/inaccessible genre.

phenomenal follow-up to one of my favorite games ever, rabi-ribi
i really really enjoyed tevi, highly recommend

some notable differences:
• not nearly as open world, at least not on your first run
• VERY long compared to rabi-ribi
• a lot of character building (250ish badges? individual badges are a lot less impactful though)
• matured visual and audio design. this is not always good gameplay-wise but certainly doesn't take away from the experience
• much bigger focus on story
• story is a fever dream nightmare
• early bosses are much less bullet hell-ish, melee combat generally plays a bigger role here compared to rabi-ribi
