If you're looking for a side scrolling platformer with tight controls and combat this is not the game for you.

Replaced is a cinematic side scrolling platformer with adequate movement response and simple yet tight combat. The latter takes a lot of inspiration from Arkham Asylum School of Beatings and it works quite well; the finishers are by far the highlight of the system.

Personally I feel the story could have benefited a lot if at least some of the dialogue was voiced instead of text only, since some of the story beats do feel a bit flat. None the less it kept me interested and entertained all though the game.

The pixel and voxel work are absolutely phenomenal. In fact it's so good that I found myself more than once just stopping and admiring the work.

The music, like the graphics, is another highpoint for the game, absolutelly wonderful work by the team.

The FPS genre distilled to its purest form.
No weapons
Bunny hopping
Strafe and rocket jumping

Well worth the price of admission.

Story's pretty bad, but game mechanics are great and some boss fights are incredible.
Main point, you swing from things, you throw ♥♥♥♥ at things and Spencer laughs everytime you get a headshot.

You will die, a lot, but the game still is incredibly immersive.
Communitty is small but in the afternoon/evening servers fill up in all 3 game modes. Campaign servers are no longer up, sadly, and playing the campaign with bots is like trying to BOLT RIFLE OF SERGEI MOSIN DESIGN WITH WEAK ARM OF SUBURB AMERICAN HOMOSEX.

Strategy is more important in the early game, but the endgame boils down to swarming your enemy with as many seedlings as posible.
