Early Access Review
Every time I have to leave a negative review on an independent game I feel really bad but this game costs no less than $15 and feels like a GameJolt dump.

Devil Spire Falls has so many different mechanics that all have a lot of depth to them, like enchanting, crafting, quests, an entire complex magic system and plenty of other things I haven't discovered, but I feel like the developer just likes implementing these large and impressive mechanics as a result of feature creep. Even from the very start of this game you are greeted with frankly one of the worst movement systems I've ever experienced. Just walking, running and jumping already feels like a chore which I find honestly impressive since even default Godot FPS controllers I've found on pastebin feel a lot smoother. Walking in this game just feels like walking through a swamp with anchors attached to your ankles. It feels floaty yet too stiff at the same time.

At the time of writing this review, the developer apparently added an update to this game that improves the NPCs but by the feel of it the NPCs haven't had a thought put into them since their first implementation. Aside from the dialogue UI having black text on a gray background, too many poorly sized buttons that take a minute to figure out the mess, they just feel plastic. Aside from being quest givers or information encyclopedias they offer literally nothing to the world. Attacking them prompts a "No More Mr. Nice Guy !" interaction for the first two hits, after which they either surrender or do literally nothing. I've killed 10 people in a town even in guilds and not one of them fought back. Not to mention that everyone around you will just boo you and say "murder is bad !!!!!" rather than step in and do something or tell the authorities (if there even are any). It all just feels so weightless and without impact.

The very first quest I tried to do was already a nightmare, this guy tells me to go kill a guy in a city I even had no idea exists, so I ask him for directions and he just points somewhere and says "Oh it's right there, like 2000 feet away". I looked at the map and this guy pointed into the ocean in the very corner of the map that ended at around 1500 feet. Not to mention I lost disposition for asking a question. Who the hell gets mad at strangers for asking questions ?

Trying to immerse yourself even through all this pain still sucks. Accessing any of the crafting menus takes at least 5 minutes to understand the UI and figure out what it wants from you, which is, in my opinion, five minutes too many. I don't doubt that behind all this is probably something worth your time to invest and understand, but the overall feel of the game is so appaling that the refund button seemed like an easier and more entertaining way out of this.

I understand that this is developed by just one person and I really hope he manages to turn this game into something great, but as it stands right now, this game is barely worth more than five dollars, if any money or time at all.

FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH NOT HAVING FORCE FEEDBACK, RIGHT CLICK ASSETTO CORSA RALLY -> PROPERTIES -> CONTROLLER -> DISABLE STEAM INPUT. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR FORCE FEEDBACK GAIN IS SET TO 100 IN THE GAME SETTINGS.

Assetto Corsa Rally feels, looks, sounds, and plays very nice. For a 0.1 build this game is very promising, and even in its current state I think it is a very good deal for $15 that I paid for it on launch day sale. I am very glad that a new set of brains is picking up the rally genre after being pretty much monopolized by EA for the past 10 years. While it does only come with 2 tracks both of which only have 2 variations, and half a dozen cars, at the early stage it helps you get acquainted with the feel of the Rally genre and I find it easier to actually learn the tracks and how the game handles since there isn't much content yet. I am very excited to see how much stuff this game received once it reaches 1.0

I do not regret my purchase one bit. 🐟

TftFT honestly feels like a mod for The Long Dark rather than a paid expansion, but it offers an impressive amount of content for the price and still keeps getting updated. I like it a lot and I definitely don't regret buying it, but its bugs and rather disappointing quality control shows that Hinterland is more interested in working on BLACKFROST, rather than updating this DLC or working on Wintermute.

I recommend buying it, but with an asterisk. You don't miss out on much by not buying it, but if you love survival mode it's definitely worth it.

Aside from slight performance issues, it has really fun gunplay and mechanics and I think this is overall an improvement over KF2.

Sims 1 Legacy Collection DOES NOT require the EA App in order to be playable
Sims 1 Legacy Collection DOES NOT require third party patches to work on modern systems properly
Sims 1 Legacy Collection DOES have all of the content the Complete Collection had
Sims 1 Legacy Collection DOES support all of the custom content for older releases

Even though the price is steep and it has never been discounted as of writing this, it works flawlessly on newer systems without any additional setup, and it has received support from the EA team and all of the newly-introduced bugs have now been fixed. It is definitely the best version of Sims 1 you could play as of now.

I love Banned Footage, but man, this is tough.

Nightmare is a sort of Attempt One at getting Mercenaries in Resident Evil 7, however they didn't execute it well, and I found Jack's 55th Birthday to be a much better version.
Molded aren't exactly interesting enemies, and this game mode doesn't make them fun to fight. They're still bullet sponges, and even landing a headshot with a shotgun just does not feel satisfying. But also now you have to fight in a really tight basement area where you can just get sandwiched between two Molded and die within 5 seconds.

Bedroom is the highlight of this, in my opinion. It doesn't offer much gameplay variety, just fun puzzles. There isn't much to say about this to be honest.
Clancy Jarvis finds himself handcuffed to the bed and being served food by Marguerite, which he is forced to eat if he wants to become part of family. Your goal is to get out of the basement without her realising. I have to say though, a couple of puzzles are just weird to figure out.

Ethan Must Die is just pain fuel for people who find pain fun. It's a really unfair maze around the house with everyone and everything one shotting you, including the fact that everything around the house is trapped. The least unpleasant part about Resident Evil 7.

Fun little minigame expansion, sadly not too much replay value though.

21 is a card game of blackjack, except your life is at stake instead of money. Now with the addition of being a selfish ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and having the ability to sabotage your opponent! Very fun!
I think it's a fun concept and a fun minigame, however it does get rather tedious and uninteresting by the time you're beating Survival+ if you're going for achievements. AI delays and Lucas taking forever to announce the winner gets really annoying after you beat it once. As much as I like it, I don't think I would ever want to play it again.

Daughters is a small story addition of (spoilers) Zoe's perspective of the d-day start. I think it was really interesting seeing the Baker family from a different perspective, and the puzzles are quite interesting, even though you can get the both endings in like 25-30 minutes. It's definitely the highlight of the DLC and what makes it worth it the most in my opinion.

Jack's 55th Birthday is a gamemode which can probably be described as "Resident Evil 7's take on Mercenaries... again". In case you weren't a fan of Nightmare, you now get the cheery and happy version of it, except instead of collecting scrap to buy upgrades, your goal is to feed Jack as fast as possible while plowing through enemies and grabbing food. With fun and fancy 70's aesthetics and music too! Magnificent!
I think this one has the most replayability by far, and probably makes for a fun speedgame too.

Overall, the Banned Footage "franchise" is my favourite expansion line for the entire Resident Evil franchise (Even though Volume 1 was mediocre at best, I still enjoy it), and it's a shame we haven't gotten anything like that for the newer games, but a man can dream. I definitely reccommend it if you already found Resident Evil 7 to be really fun, just not on full price. It's not worth the $30 for the 2 hours of gameplay max, but it's a great deal if on sale/being purchased with the Gold edition of RE7.

It's a silly game where you live in the time where Margaret Thatcher was still ruling. Truly terrible

It's a rare case of a game that tried to do so many things, and actually succeeded at them. The game doesn't look that promising from the promotion stuff, but the actual gameplay is insane. I loved the combat, the thievery, the trading, everything! The story of the game is not exactly very good, but it's good enough where you are actually interested in following it and doing the main questline; something that a lot of other RPG games not succeed to do well.
I think everyone should give it a try, as it's a geniunely well-made product, that could last a person hundreds of hours of playtime
