One of the few games I've ever bothered getting all of the achievements for. Every part of this game is glorious: the atmospheric environments, the natural feeling controls with incredibly in-depth movement mechanics, the fascinating and philosophical stories that it tells.

The base game and Downpour are both absolute 10/10s across the board for me. Survivor, Hunter and Saint are my favourite campaigns, but all of them are very fun and distinct. Watcher was a bit weaker in my opinion, and lacks direction in places where it really needs it, but also has some absolutely gorgeous regions and many great additions to the story and lore.

Best JRPG (or FRPG?) I've ever played.

Play this game. Play it multiple times and experiment with everything you can do. It's a hell of a journey, full of twists and turns, with strong writing and engaging combat. I've played through the whole thing so far once and my second playthrough has been somehow even better.

A strict improvement in every way on the base game. A surprisingly enjoyable story, fun encounters - including some non-combat ones - and lots of additions in terms of ancestries, class options and feats. Absolutely worth it.

You'll need a strong stomach for this one for sure. Really compelling little game but yeah, it gets pretty gross.

Who knew Mr Beast was so badass?

I'd guess I'm around 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through this now (level 14) and I will update this review when I'm finished, but I love this game. It took a lot of getting into, but I find the adventure really interesting and the kingdom management is surprisingly compelling.

So I just beat the Shadow Generations part of this, having played plenty of Sonic Generations before, and all I can say is that I wish there was more of it. Peak as hell.

Really fun, short RPG with very corny dialogue but great combat encounters. Currently the only Pathfinder 2e game and I think it really shows the strength of the ruleset for video games.

Good balance of fun, light-hearted elements and darker, more mysterious storytelling. Characters were generally very likeable and the art was pretty good, especially some of the backgrounds. Really needs a proper skip function though; I ended up using AutoHotkey to mash my space bar to get through repeat playthroughs.
