I've been sleeping on Wolfenstein for too long. Lots of cool set pieces and moments to make you laugh. Took me 13 hours to get all achievements so it's fairly short but paced very well.

Not super creepy, but plenty of unsettling moments a la Sunless Sea, albeit not quite as impactful. I enjoyed the gameplay loop and found myself sinking quite a few more hours than I expected. Would love to see more in this vein.

I liked the concept, but $15 is a stretch for what’s here. The game only has ten puzzles, and the bits of dialogue in between barely last a minute. The story feels hollow.

The biggest frustration is having to restart entire levels if you slip up. Each puzzle requires learning eight details about your target, and if you miss even one, you’re forced to click through every character’s schedule again before you can retry.

Most of the schedule-checking boils down to picking the second option over and over. Ninety-five percent of the time you learn nothing new—just that someone eats, sleeps, and goes to work. The only “spicy” discovery is that a few characters hook up once a week. That’s about as interesting as it gets, and nothing ever hints at why these people are targets in the first place.

I still enjoyed the underlying idea, even when it got mind-numbing. Having to slog through endless schedules because I misjudged someone’s sleep by a single hour isn’t fun. Honestly, this game would’ve worked better if it dropped the main character and story entirely and focused on streamlining the puzzle mechanics.

This game doesn't look better or play any better than the original. I guess the only redeeming factor is being able to play at 240fps, but it feels incredibly janky and doesn't add anything new.

Anti-Matter Dimensions clone. I liked the visuals of having the dimensions spin but this game is much simpler and with micro-transactions. Stay away.

Only complaint is the cutscenes are quieter than the normal game volume, so you're constantly turning it up and down.

Other than that, I enjoyed revisiting this game.

The tutorial was a little intense so I got scared but it's actually quite intuitive and fun to play. Your first couple of runs you'll be figuring things out, but there's a permanent progression mechanic so you'll gradually get stronger as you understand the game better. Personally, I remapped the "Rotate Tile" to my mouse buttons for convenience.

The medieval aesthetic and music are wonderful, if you feel even the slightest bit interested in this game I would highly recommend checking it out.

A very introspective game that I absolutely loved 10 years ago. Looking forward to trying the remaster a decade later and seeing if it resonates in a different way with more life experience.
