I will admit, I was one of the BIGGEST doubters of this game coming into the full release, especially based upon what I had seen in the early access build. I thought it would ruin the legacy of the Bhaalspawn Saga I have loved throughout my entire life.

I was wrong.

With the start of the full release I didn't come in with a very open mind, until I had started playing the game through half of Act 1. I didn't play much of the early access due to how buggy and crash-prone it was for me in 2020, so my first play through was essentially a completely blind play through except for the Nautiloid.

This game is an absolute masterclass from Larian, nothing else to be said, congratulations on the Game of the Year, I had no doubts (At this point).

However, to those that enjoy this game, the Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 Enhanced Editions on steam (or gog) provide some information about character lore, who some of the companions are, and information about what happened 120 years prior to the events of BG3.

The only request I have of Larian is as follows:

Remaster 1 & 2, do the veterans proud, as hard as it may be transferring 2nd edition rules to 5th... It can be done, right?
