what a superb game! in terms of being a spiritual successor to their previous series, this definitely builds on and further refines the previous formula the team at Tarsier Studios had so lovingly handcrafted.

what a fantastic concept and awesome execution! each of tapes/levels are distinct enough and there's plenty of weapons to mess around with, but i found myself sticking to the pipe throughout my playthrough. wish i had brought someone along for the ride though, nothing but praise from me!

my only real exposure to games or rather a genre of a similar kind is through the old 'i spy' book series.
what a neat little demo! there's plenty of tasks to do and lots of little things you can interact with. if the full title receives as much care as this one level did, i have no doubt it will be as enjoyable as this current build was.

a lovely remastered sequel to an already stellar first game.
there is definitely a difficulty curve here compared to the first, but tons of variety in terms of levels.
if you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy this one just as well.

had this game nestled in my wishlist for quite a while, and finally picked it up heavily discounted.
i had no idea this game was so inspired by Zelda, especially Twilight Princess, and it tells in certain mechanics and areas.

never really struggled with the combat, so those who seek a challenge should probably choose the higher difficulty upon start. this game definitely leans more into the exploration aspect, and the platforming can get challenging with some of the voids.

worth a play if you like 3D platformers and exploration!

there's a lot to like here, and i enjoyed my playthrough overall.
i do have a feeling however that this will ultimately be forgettable, as it doesn't
really bring anything new or unique to the table.
if you enjoy a simple metroidvania, this can take up an evening or two.

totally forgot i picked this up on discount, and managed to beat it in 2 sessions.
there are some odd technical issues, like your volume and inputs being reset every time you relaunch the game.
lots of the platforming involves suddenly appearing platforms, so there is a lot of trial and error.
the flow state in this was pretty fun though, even the super fast-paced final section.

p.s. you can cheese the checkpoint system in the normal mode by simply exiting to the menu and reopening the game when you're by one of the checkpoints.

What a well designed and clever little game!
Knowledge comes in place of gizmos/gadgets as per the genre.
and just when you think you've seen it all, new tricks are uncovered and experimented!
