Not worth it at all. Game is about 30 minutes long total. Only reason my playtime is so high is because my son left it running. I'd recommend buying like twelve 50 cent games that have 20x the gameplay length instead, any which of them will likely be more fun. A singular sketchy encounter with the singular enemy is... the whole thing? And it's an absolutely poorly designed flee-through-a-maze type thing?

Extremely disappointing. Extremely limited fun. The game could be okay if it was a full game, but as it stands the first episode is deeply flawed, barely passable, and only has positive reviews because of youtube bait.

UPDATE: They made this garbage free and doubled the price for the second chapter (which is apparently similarly not worth it for game time). What a ripoff. Garbage company.

Ransomware still not added, cannot recommend.

Game is pretty damn fun (I mean, I've certainly got some mileage out of it).

It's a solid social deduction game with tons of unique and fun mechanics + interactions.

Faction rotation was a terrible decision though.

If you have never played Terraria, you sincerely have to give it a whirl. It's the best parts of minecraft mixed with the best parts of rough platforming games. A beautiful love-letter to great game design.

The game became absolutely terrible after the devs tried to "fix" it. The servers are offline now, and you can only play if you assemble 7 other people that want to go through the tedious and boring new experience.

A thoroughly engaging fast-paced roguelike with an extremely fun array of weapons and abilities. Boss fights are challenging and rewarding, mutations system allows a modicum of reliable customization, and the gameplay loop keeps you coming back for more well after you should be done with it.

Fun, different, good times.

I cannot honestly recommend the steam release because it doesn't mesh with their system, like at all. Limited opportunity to receive support, absolutely atrocious account management that prevents me from actually signing in, so on.

OH, and it constantly stays "running" after you exit, so uninstalling it is a chore too.

UPDATE: I don't recommend the proprietary version either. Neople tried to demand my personal address despite never having it on file in order to process a customer service request.

+Positively love the mechanics and gameplay.

-Can no longer log in after 60 hours of gameplay and have spent over two hours trying to narrow the problem down to no avail. I'd say it is linked to their latest patch, but that'd be speculative.

tl;dr: Best mechanics of any mmo I've played while being unplayable because of unstable/unscalable net code.

EDIT:
I already contacted the support service (no answer), reinstalled (no result), verified file integrity (no result), and followed every online guide on the issue created within the past two years that I could find (a lot of wasted time).

UPDATE:
After a six day wait for customer support, instead of actually troubleshooting they threw their arms up in the air and said the computer that had run it for nearly 60 hours in Heidel was simply not capable of loading Heidel (which is a self-correcting point, it *ran it for 60 hours* it obviously did and could load it, thanks Kakao!).

I thoroughly don't recommend, not because the game is terrible, but because it's so poorly managed and supported that you're essentially paying for something that is intended to stop working in one way or another (be it server instability, random load errors that accrue over time, character corruption, etc.) Definitely won't touch another release from Kakao or Pearl.

Put a load of time more into it. It's genuinely not fun.

-Really difficult to cajole a team into going for the objective
-20% of players don't buy items, despite being a gamechanger.
-Nearly everyone doesn't customize their loadouts.
-If you complain about these things: "Dude, it's not ranked! stfu!"
-Only 4/10 because I've seen worse.

All in all, having sunk quite a bit of time. It's really a gem. Worth playing, just please read how to.
