I'm a huge fan of CruS, so I immediately bought the game when the EA launched. The first few hours are really painful due to the lack of guidance and the extremely steep difficulty curve (worse than CruS, for sure): I can barely survive a mecha battle for longer than 1 second, my cash is running out, etc.
After more than 5 hours of grinding, with the help of many walkthroughs and tricks showing up on YouTube and other places, I finally started enjoying the combat.
After 11 hours of gameplay, it's a recommendable game. The story is incomplete, and many areas are still under construction. Still, the difficulty is tuned to perfection (maybe a bit high, but undoubtedly enjoyable) and the side quests are fun. My only complaint is the price tag; things may change when the full game launches, and I'll wait passionately for that.
