Ok, for 25 euros it is some good eurojank I can play and enjoy.
Download size is 13 gigs, that's commendable.
No shader stutter, really good.
Though my overall perf wasn't holding 60 even with reduced settings, so probably CPU bound.

Combat needs a lot of fluidity improvements and people need to be able to get ejected from cars, otherwise it's ok-ish. Visuals are beatiful, though with 3 predefined lighting scenarios and a small open world lightmaps would have been better and way less noisy.

Once it gets some patches I think it's gonna be a good game

So I've completed the game twice before writing a review.

First of all, I really didn't want to put a negative review because I love Road 96 and I waited for this game to come out as well. But really, the only good thing about this game is that they asked The Midnight to make a song for it, that's it.

None of the things that made Road 96 great are here:
- No preudo-random progression
- No resource\risk management
- No win/lose conditions in gameplay loop
- No memorable sidekick characters except the returning ones

Instead of all that they decided to make a copy of Sayonara Wild Hearts' gameplay and squeezed that in-between the usual walking gameplay. These music parts of the game are not enjoyable and detract from experience. Also, on my second playthrough I realized hardly any of my replies matter or make any difference - sometimes no matter what you answer the dialog is literally identical.

So if Road 96 was an 8/10 for me, Mile 0 is 5/10 and I only played it because I liked the first one. I hope we will see a sequel with proper gameplay and that devs will take into account the feedback from this one.

This game is simply a genre in itself. There are no other true MMOFPS like PlanetSide. Forget Destiny, The Division or Warframe - those are just lobby shooters and can't even compare to the real deal. When you see an outfit dropping from galaxies onto a meat grinder of a few hundred person battle, then surviving that and capturing a base through smoke launchers and clever grenade tactics - you get it. The game is unique in it's scale but also has a lot of depth, whether you are an infantry player, aircraft lover or vehicle junkie.
