Fun game but main campaign is extremely easy and boring. After a hour of playing you have so many evolution points its possible to spam one unit and win every map without hassle.

There are strong human units/buildings but these are introduced way too slowly. I quickly skipped to survival and challenge maps and it was a blast. But there are only few of them...

Supreme Commander/Planetary Annihilation kind of game. Has huge potential but its not finished game , more like beginning of early acess state. Will see how updates go.

Great game. But in current state of optimization its unplayable. No degree of fiddling with settings can help. I still have drops from 60 to 30 fps on lowest settings possible with 640 x 480 resolution.

Such a waste of potential...

In terms of gameplay this is my GOTY tbh.

Now about microtransactions/battle pass(aka warbonds):

- free warbond essentially functions as normal progression. Unlocks items in same manner as in older multiplayer shooters. You just spend medals for unlocking (normal currency, impossible to irl buy this one). It may feel grindy, but you are getting crazy amounts of medals for finishing personal daily objectives. I cannot complain so far.

- premium warbond costs 1000 super credits (premium currency), which equals 10$. I find it kinda nice that devs offer exactly 1000 credits in store to buy directly. Without uneven amounts for "oh no, you have some left, better buy more to not waste them".

- you can earn credits from free warbond and by doing missions. They are pickable items hidden all over maps. The harder mission the more of these you will find.

- warbonds never expire, you have all time in the world to earn items. No FOMO, which is commandable. At this point I would say that warbonds are just dlc bundles (just as in first helldivers).

- I would say that it isnt PTW as you still need medals to unlock items from premium warbond. And noticably more than in free one.

- there is a fortnite styled store ingame, but so far it only has cosmetics. Safe to ignore.

- There are still many unlocks not confined into warbonds. Airstrikes, heavy weapons, turrents, etc. Those need requisition, a most basic resource you get basicly for doing anything.
