Incredibly fun game, plenty of improvements over the original and overall really good.

There are some issues and questionable design choices, but overall I'm having fun. Don't go into the game expecting an RPG like the original. If you go in expecting "Dishonored but Vampires," you'll have a much better time.

If the game would have been called anything other than Bloodlines 2, there wouldn't be any drama. The game is fine for what it is, just not what me and most people were hoping for.

After some more hours, I can't say I recommend this game anymore. It starts off pretty strong and I enjoyed it, but as I got further in the more cracks start to show.
On multiple occasions, I've managed to sneak through an area, only to be met with a door that says "go back and kill everyone."
The resonance system starts out cool but after a while it's just annoying. I unlocked one or two powers outside my clan but simply can't be bothered to unlock more. As a result, I'm sitting on 40 skill points, unable to spend them.

This game could have been so much more.

If you played the original Hollow Knight for hundreds of hours, you'll probably enjoy this game. I didn't and there's just so many small things that add up to an annoying experience.

Runs on Linux now. Game is pretty fun.

Spent all day trying to get it to run and now I can't try anymore because of Denuvo.

Very different from PoE1, but I'm having a ton of fun so far.

Surprisingly fun gameplay (for the first few hours anyway), with an interesting story and great visuals.

It's a fun mindless looter shooter to unwind after work. Most of my hours are on PS5.

I don't get the MTX hate. Warframe has exactly the same monetization scheme and it doesn't get any hate for it. I personally don't mind it and just ignore it. Once I've settled on a main hero, I'll consider throwing money at them to get a cool skin.

Edit: Many hours later, I still have fun, but I play the game a lot less often. Don't expect this to be a forever game.
