I have to edit my review to be more detailed because I cannot overstate how amazing this game is. The story is incredible and the gameplay is so fun. I went back following the ending and have now 100% the game, seen the Painted Symphony live, and cannot wait for the DLC so I can experience even more from these storytellers.

If you rush through you can probably complete the story in 25-30 hours but I did it in about 40, finally 100%ing at 70 hours. Fantastic story, gameplay, and music.

I really like this game, but I can't recommend it when it barely opens half the time. I like the outfit designs, the dailies aren't too bad, and there's some cool characters (Ena 😔) but the change in intro, story changes, and poor communication from Infold have made for a poor experience recently.

I love this game, really recommend if you enjoy vampire themes, base building, boss rushes, and more. I'm more of a PVE player but the combat is still really engaging and the boss fights do usually require some thought rather than rushing in. You can play to get through the bosses as quick as possible, or take your time with it.
Usually servers run with resets every 90 days, easily you can complete the gameplay loop in that time. Game is very replayable too.

I wasn't going to pick this up having both Banished and Farthest Frontier in my library however it is extremely fun. I prefer playing games as city builders so I look forward to any cosmetic updates in the far future however the game is already fun in this state. If you like playing it as a city builder, you can switch combat off however I left it on default and the attacks are infrequent enough that I don't mind it.

Amazing, don't play this without playing the Kiryu saga before though. Gameplay is great but the story beats won't hit as hard. 10/10 I was crying so much at the end.

I like building cities: skylines and am looking forward to building cities: skylines 2.

I really like this game, I was an avid Zoo Tycoon enjoyer and this is a pretty natural next step. Great fun and the workshop submissions from the community are really great for making your various zoos.

Wow, so first off I don't think anyone should play this as their first Yakuza game. That kind of makes the review a bit :/ because the only people I'd expect to buy it are people who have played 1-5 (and probably 0) so if you've done that then of course you've gotta play 6.

In terms of the actual review, the game is fine. Where in previous games I might be a bit apprehensive switching to a different character for chapters I now find myself missing it. I love Kiryu, but I also love Akiyama!!!!!!! Give me more Akiyama!!!!! He is in this don't worry but not a whole(/half) chapter like in 4 and 5.

The story is interesting, it's not my favourite but the city is beautiful as it was in Kiwami 2 and Onomichi is nice if a little small. I've heard the ending makes people cry so I'm looking forward to that.

Karaoke is okay, Like A Butterfly cinematic is fantastic, but for the last mainline Kiryu game I was really hoping to have a final dame da ne.

TLDR: If you've played previous Yakuza games then play this one, otherwise what are you doing reading this?? Go play 0!!!

It's good, quite a long game so be prepared for that! I'd always recommend playing in order so if you've played the previous 4 (or 5 counting 0) then you'll like this of course. I'm not sure I'd recommend this game for people starting out with the Yakuza games simply because of the story and characters having better introductions in previous games.

Anyway, in terms of Karaoke you get to hear Baka Mitai a LOT so obviously that pushes this game from good to absolutely excellent. Akiyama needed more songs - they all needed more but Akiyama's VA is great.
