Love the style and story, great voice performances, great animation and a stellar meaning throughout the game.

Been loving it to be honest, not really played many Battlefield games since 3 and its been a blast. I understand the complaints about smaller maps, but for me and my play style I like it. I always disliked the huge maps and just running for minutes without seeing anything. This is a nice blend between big enough and into the action quick.

The core gameplay and story is fantastic. It handles moments from the OG game well, giving fan service, honouring the original story but applying some new twists and turns that keep old fans of the game guessing.

A lot of the negative reviews are focusing on the optional side content for the game. You have to do a couple of mini games, but most of it is completely option and your time with the game isn't lessened by choosing the skip that optional content, the story remains as engrossing.

Runs well. An initial shader bar appears on first launch, and the game has some initial shader stutters, but they go away pretty quick depending on your CPU, it just appears the game continues to load shaders while you play for a bit. Nothing too jarring thankfully and aside from that good performance throughout.

Started this recently, yesterday on my lunch thought I'd play an hour more since I was in the Womens Lot DLC, here is my messages to a friend in that hour to summarise the game well.

10/10, will continue playing.

Me - "Mate, I’ve had an ordeal on kingdom come"

Me - "Had to pinch some dice for my friend because she’s too scared to talk to a boy, got caught didn’t I so the guards came for me."

Me - "Talked my way out of it by promising to pray a lot, thankfully already gave the dice away before the guards found me"

Him - "You all locked up?"

Me - "Then, had to enter some creepy mines because my brother and father are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealing silver"

Him - "Best pray you don’t have any stolen good on you mate"

Me - "When the guards torch light came round the corner in that pitch black wet environment I bricked myself"

Him - "Hahahahahahaha"

Me - "Thankfully he didn’t look my way"

Him - "Welcome to bohemia in the 14th century"

Me - "Guy was guarding the exit to the mine as my brother is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless and didn’t distract him"

Me - "So sic’d the dog on him and legged it"

Him - "Hahahahahahahaha"

Me - "Gave the silver to dad"

Me - "AND NOW HE WANTS TO MARRY ME OFF"

Him - "Sic’d the dog on him 😂😂"

Me - "What. A. ****"

Him - "Poor **** just doing his job and a dog comes out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere in a dark mine"

Me - "Now I’m looking for some treasure from a map some charlatan clearly scammed me into buying and hoping it pays off"

Lobbed a shield at my mates head, 10/10 would play again.

Games playing well with zero bugs in my first 6-7 hours of so.
Only thing I didn't like was I limited the game to 120fps as thats my monitors refresh rate, but still got tearing as the game kept breaking the 120 limit occasionally (if I uncapped I was getting about 150fps) so I had to cap to 115 in the Nvidia control panel to resolve.

Looks good, plays good, story has me invested. Happy days.

- The open world isn't pointlessly large, so doesn't become overwhelming
- Great pacing
- Stunning visuals
- Great audio track
- Experienced no bugs and performance was good throughout


- I'm not going to emotionally recover from the ending for a while

People are making this huge deal out of the PSN thing, but for me its just not that big a deal at all. It doesn't make a good game all of a sudden bad, so leaving a positive review to reflect that the game didn't suddenly become bad because of a 1 time login requirement coming up.

Reet nice

The satisfaction of clapping some cheeks with a filthy headshot just isn't matched in any other PvP game I've played. Its as if every round in the Bayou leaves a story to talk about later, which automatically makes it my favourite PvP game to play.
