Good luck Commanders
If the game is sitting at desktop with the X2 logo in a window on taskbar, and you get an empty shell window when you click that, 'the game is building itself per new configuration'.
If you want to make sure the game is still loading during this period, load an instance of Task Manager, find the Xcom2.exe process, and check to see if the Memory is climbing. At about 10gb of used memory, the game will load (either to cinematic, or load screen after a pause), and lower it's memory usage to 4-7gb, depending on your settings.
I hope this helps, and if you have any more problems, feel free to contact me directly for further assistance =)
Sadly for the last two months I was both without a working PC or internet at my home due to personal matters. However, this situation is now being actively resolved.
It's my intent over the course of this weekend to update the AML pack, as well as provide fresh INI's for all who've requested them, as well as on the pack's page.
This smaller update will require the normal methods of subscribe/unsubcribe when done, and will come with instructions as always. It will mostly update older modules to newer, less performance draining variants, as well as fix some balancing and bug issues.
Again my deepest apologies for the delay and lack of communication from myself. I hope everyone has found good fortunate and happiness during this time.
I will post again when the INI's are uploaded, hopefully within the hour.
Thank you for everyone's patience,
Kindest regards,
