- You want to go slow and enjoy every conversation or interaction with any NPC or object. It's that good.

- Each choice matters, each little book on the ground matters, everything is a piece of the puzzle to solve a quest or a mystery. Yeah, it's that good.

- Took me 31 hours to finish Act 1. It's that good.

That is basically the play time of 2-3 AAA games made by a big studio. In 1 act. I have no doubts that Divinity series will ascend to Witcher heights in Divinity 3. These devs deserve recordbreaking sales.

Great game with fully customizable combat system and combos. PVE is very exciting and innovative, but very short (4 hours of gameplay?)

PVP is all about reading your opponents customized moves. You can lose 2 rounds badly, then just change your strategy and easy-counter him in the next 3 (Or he will learn on the fly and counter you back).

If you wanted true fighting game experience and dealing with street fights in a open world MMO, Absolver is a game for you.

p.s. - You can totally kick asses in this game without a controller. Compared to For Honor, Absolver is actually not horrible on keyboard+mouse.

Early Access Review
You start the game with hitting trees with your fists to collect wood and picking up stones on the beach, in order to craft a stone axe.
100 hours later of playing and surviving, you are riding a dragon and you have a machine gun.
You can form a raid with your tribe.
Summon bosses.
Craft bazooka and blast some epic creatures.

Progression in this game is absolutely flawless.
And it's just 1st day of Alpha?...

Ignore the bad reviews, this game just destroyed survival genre and also added open RPG/MMO aspect to it.

I've went into this game as someone who gets bored quickly by RPG games. Even though i have hundreds of games behind me and an excellent MMORPG/RPG CV in hardest modes, i've stopped playing the genre due to very bad and boring RPG games in the recent years.

However i chose to buy this game since i wanted to remind myself of my childhood and hack'n'slash LOTR game i played 10 years ago.
Well this game is an absolute monster. It's a mix of Batman Arkham, Assassin's Creed, Prototype 2 etc. put into Middle Earth.
Gameplay is absolutely phenomenal (I ran it on 4K ultra with my new XMG Laptop) and story mode is like watching 90+ rotten tomato rated movie!
Cut scenes all together are 2 hours long and most of them are blizzard-quality cinematics.
Story mode gives much hype as LOTR movies (first three ofc, not these commercial abominations in last 3 years).
It kept me on edge of the seat since the start and till the end. It's very powerful and emotional ride to heart of Mordor.

Gameplay is 8/10, nothing unique, great sense of progression but big lack in Character skill tree customization
Story is 10/10, probably the best movie you are going to watch in 2015. Can't wait for DLC's....

In total it's a pure 9/10 and best LOTR game AND CONTENT since 2003 movies.
Developers are probably so hyped about making new content for this monster. People loved it and i bet that next big DLC will break the sales record of RPG genre on steam.
