It does look a little better than the original and is a little more stable, but other than that the only major change is adding steam achievements. Recieved for free since I owned the original.

If you're sick of COD games being ass nowadays then this is a pretty good game for you. I came into it not having played a lot of BF games, my primary being BF1, which I did enjoy. I've mostly played older COD games such as MW2 and BO2 and haven't enjoyed a COD game since Ghosts, but BF6 almost scratches that itch for me. I also haven't experienced many bugs or isses, aside from bad spawns and slight imbalance favouring vehicles, but it's nothing gamebreaking. I'd reccomend it if you need that modern FPS fix and if you have the money.

I first played this VN quite a long time ago. I ended up forming emotional attachments to every character it has to offer. I thought that was just because I was a lonely high schooler, but now that I've taken the time to play 100% through every girl's route, my experience has been the same. Every one of the six girls has so much depth, and I can't help but feel emotional at the fact that they are not and will not ever be real people. Each one of their stories is so... heart-wrenching. In an amazing way. In a saddening way. In a way that fills me with hope, among many other emotions. All of them deserve their happy endings more than anything.

Katawa Shoujo will make you feel things you've never felt before. With every story, you'll fall more and more in love, not just with the characters, but with the VN as a whole. You'll find yourself dreading the end, when you've played through it all, and there's no more for you to enjoy. I just now found myself at this end, with nothing more than a full achievement list for my troubles. But then I realized how much Katawa Shoujo has changed me, much for the better. I genuinely do not think I can say I am the same person now having played it that I was before.

If you would like to enjoy this game to it's fullest, I would recommend playing it in this order:

1. Shizune's Route, bad ending then good ending. This one first because it stands alone best on it's own
2. Emi then Rin's route (or vice versa), endings worst to best. They go very well together.
3. Hanako's route, endings worst to best. Her route goes very well with Lillie's route, which is why I recommend playing it before hers.
4. Lillie's route, bad ending and then good ending. Her route is the longest, and has an epilogue, unlike any of the others. which is why I save it for the end. It's also my personal favourite.

By the end, whichever girl ends up stealing your heart (if not all of them), I can promise you that you'll love Katawa Shoujo, and that it will end up reserving a special place in your heart, just like it has in mine. That is all for now.
