The only reason I have this many hours was for the story. I would love to comment on the gameplay if there was any of that. Fighting this game is absolutely brain draining boring. The only skill you need in this game is having the endurance to grind the same fights OVER and OVER and OVER just to get enough XP to fight the next boss. Bosses that are are literally impossible to beat unless you go grind ''fight'' NPCs for entire hours.
Considering the story factor I dont think this story is even worth the repetitve boring fighting and xp farming. The story feels poorly written. Half of the characters have a total of 0 reasons or any actual motivation (Seriously what reason does Saeko have to do any of this) to tag along Ichiban and continue with his story. Worst Yakuza game out there ngl.

Minigames are fun.

If you want to enjoy a game with no stable FPS and constant FPS crashes between 50 and 1 the this is the right game for you. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane low optimization. What do you even do in your EA offices? What do you get paid for??

If youre into extremely slow paced games sitting and waiting for your opponent to activate 83 chain while taking 7 minutes per card then this is game is perfect for you

Game never gets boring really, always something new to test out.

What is even the goal in this game?

After finishing the game I have realized that the game is plagued with flaws. Managing your cult is embarassingly easy: You can have 0 loyality, go talk and inspire 4 next to each other and youre back to normal. There are not many interactions you can do with your cult. You can finish and beat the game without having unlocked even 50% of unlockable things, building for your cult is purely for aesthetics.
The currency is extremely easy to get, food is never a problem, having 0 loyality has no cons, nobody actually doing bad stuff or rioting.
You can beat the ENTIRE story without visiting a single location on the map, they serve 0 purpose

This game feels like it was made for animal crossing players but satanic, The only thing it offers very well is art and design.


Spoiler:

Once you defeat a godly bishop that has been chained for eons, he turns into a basic normal NPC, he doesnt even have unique interactions or events. He is a COMPLETELY average NPC with an edgy voice. The game also never actually explains the depth of the law, why he was chained? how? when? or what his plans were.

Really funny and entertaining game, wouldn't necessarily pay the original price for the game unless it's on sale. 10/10 nonetheless
