Again, Square Enix showing how they always manage to fumble when it comes to PC. as soon as the game gets to the flashbacks, it can't keep itself from crashing for more than 2 minutes. kinda funny considering the game runs at 60fps here on the prologue without any issues. I'll change it if they fix it, cause I know the game is a masterpiece, but come on, how many times in a row you can mess up a PC release and still fail to learn anything? if anything, this game should've been polished for 2 more months

UPDATE: i've played it till the end, back when it released and it was really complicated and took a lot of effort and playing under my pc specs could handle cause it was terribly optimized.

a year later(it's 7 feb 2026), i decided to do my hard mode playthrough and they haven't fixed the game. they didn't put FSR support yet, they didn't fix the crashes and the stutters.

Square Enix has my favourite franchises but it's a trash company carried by legacy and a few talented people like Kitase who directed this game and made a masterpiece. the rest get crushed under bad decisions, make those decisions, or simply don't care.

it's disrespectful and everything bad they had last year is deserved to 90 percent of the company

I wonder what will happen with Part 3 being released on all platforms at the same time, and with RAM costs being insane right now, they'll optimize it for high end pcs, and anyone who didn't spend 4k dol on one won't be able to play.

What can I say about this wonderful game? It's so big, and beautiful, you can beat everyone with many strategies, and each match is completely diferent from another. It's awesome to be the Queen of England or Brazilian Emperor. This is the best strategy game EVER
