Deceptively fun, with a nice loop between crafting, gathering, mining, and doing things about town. Give it a few hours to grow on you - the graphics are jarring at first, I actually laughed at the character creator because they were so strange. They don't get less strange, really, but they kind of become normal and a little bit charming. As someone who really likes this genre, I would recommend to others as a fun game - but would also say if you can get it on sale, that'd be ideal.
