Bought the game four times in two days as well as the first season pass (x4) and Bright Harvest (x4) as gifts. I have bought this game more times than most people play it probably have. I can't play it.

Now because I bought some DLC for myself between my first and second sessions and Ubisoft Connect auto-logged using different accounts between both I seem to be screwed. What I'm observing seems to be that Ubisoft tried logging the new unclaimed licenses to a second account that didn't have the base game. Now my game is bricked because on neither Ubisoft account can it pass the authentication check.

This wasn't user error. I didn't play anything inbetween these sessions. I don't even play other Ubisoft Games. The Ubisoft account it tried swapping to is one of my old ones that upon attempting to get into manually in the time following this incident I've found is stuck in an unresolvable password recovery mode. The email address that account is bound to hasn't existed in 15 years, I can't get into that if I wanted to. There was no login swap on my end, but a random quirk of Ubisoft Connect. I was struggling to figure out my logins to these accounts on the website, but I didn't need to. Just relaunching Ubisoft Connect a few times eventually logged in the one I was looking for, not that it has done me any good so far.

Solved this whole situation by buying it on a second Steam account and then getting it to put the content on the correct Ubisoft Connect account. Did have a ticket in with Ubisoft, but I don't have the patience to even wait three days.

Game is good. Ubisoft shouldn't be allowed their own platform though.

I'm leaving this review 6 months after trying the game and therefore it may not be entirely relevant to current product.

The gun mechanics and bag system seemed really promising, but I had to stop when I broke the tutorial at what I believe to have been the end. I didn't feel the drive to go back and quickly replay the tutorial due to the enemies in the game being inherently disinteresting to me. I understand that it is an intentional design and have seen that people who have played the game more than I had say that the enemies have to be what they are due to the story. This taken into account though I still fail to appreciate it and don't expect to be returning to this game. I came in hoping for a more Metro or Stalker experience where there were humans you had to fight in addition to hostile oddities rather than exclusively the latter.

I judge it as Rust with different content focus, Dinorust. Game isn't designed exclusively around the PvP like Rust is. I find it likely that most play for exclusively the PvP, but my point is that, that isn't all there is here. It can feel a bit more like an exploration game due to the unique environments throughout any map and the dangers that come with those environments.

The reviews are largely negative with the reason being hackers as well as being something mentioned quite frequently in chat during gameplay. But In the first 24 hours of my play while I've seen many complaints I have yet to see anything that looks like an actual hacker.

People likely complain simply because they've been killed across the map, but in this game that is the entire job of the recon class. Some specializations for weapons even allowing them to adjust sights for longer distances. It's just a matter of accounting for travel time.

Got it for multiplayer. I can't do any of the missions that are inside their own instances thanks to good old error 21002001, but I only had to do Honor Among Horse Thieves (the first of such missions) four or five times before I got to the free roam. The free roam is worth it.

I have already bought 6 copies of the game (1 for me and 5 for friends) and am considering buying more as I have enjoyed this game quite a bit in the few hours I played it.

10/10 Best Strategy Game NA.
