yeah idk why people hate this game
its fun, there's a lot of complexity to the existing mechanics, combat is GREAT and fluid, skills are flashy yet grounded to the high fantasy setting. map is huge and the graphics are pretty good for an mmo.
my only REAL gripe is the itemization which is lacking to say the least

sure, it's buggy but it's also early access..people need to understand that..

also don't listen to people who are saying 'tHEre's likE 5 hOURs oF quESTs' - that's bs. there's so many side quests that it's actually stupid. also, no way they did everything and ran out of content to do.

So,
I've finished everything the game has to offer for this time (besides some wild achievements, and some that didn't activate for some reason) -
Killed the Queen, Matriarch and every other single arc.
All workshops are level 3, Scrappy is max on level 5.
All legendary weapons in my possession.
Raider deck complete with 1500 Cred to spare.
Community event completed.
Max level currently at 75.
Expedition complete.
All quests complete.

I've mentioned all of that just to point out the fact that I know what I'm talking about.
The game is great. Truly. There's plenty to do and you'll have to extract a lot before you finish the game - and you're being pampered and given items along the way. Combat is great and the suspense is thrilling, both from the Arcs and from enemy raiders.
Also, currently not P2W at all, and decks (battle passes) that give you enough premium currency and upto par cosmetics.

Played from day 1 and took a break for like 8 months or so, the game made great strides into becoming much better.
Questing is alot better, Greatsword is a good addition to the game and as far as I can tell the developers are actively working on the game and improving it.

If you're a returning player, you probably won't recognize the game since it changed much - for the better.

Just finished getting all of the achievements.
Really entertaining, simple and fun.
Also, gets updates as far as I can tell on the weekly, definitely worth the 3$.

The only reason I'm giving this a thumbs up is because it has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of potential IF CDPR actually decides to take advantage of it.

I was first introduced to the game back in the 2012 teaser. From the 2018 demo I was hyping myself up so badly that I literally took a WEEK off of work to pour myself into the game back in the December release. I was really hyped, that I even bought 2 metal displate (not a sponspor) posters and they're currently on my wall.

The game is good, really - For the first time ONLY.
It doesn't have much of replay-ability since the decisions you make usually end up in the same place. There are multiple endings, but the decisions you made a long the way make little matter up until the 'no return' quest.

Afterwards, the game is quite shallow and doesn't have a lot of personality. There are certainly some quests which I will remember for quite a long time (like the Peralez quest and the guy who decided to be Jesus). Most of the game is not really rememberable and to be honest, I've forgotten most of it, unfortunately.

So take the game with a grain of salt. If you're a first time buyer I highly recommend to do EVERYTHING the game has to offer BEFORE getting to the no return point. Because doing it the second time is tiresome.

Good thing that at least the landscape is pretty. :)

It's not too long, but it's compact with amazing stories and quests to do. If you're looking for a Fallout: New Vegas 2 this is probably the closest thing to it, made by the same developers - Obsidian.

Don't ever play on the public servers, 7/10 people are trolls.
Fun with friends though.
