as someone who was introduced to larian games with baldurs gate 3, this game did not disappoint!! i wanted to try the divinity series when the new one was announced in 2025, and i can say with total confidence that this game is INCREDIBLE. it's story-rich, has compelling characters, and really lets u do whatever u want LOL. ive heard people say that the story is stronger when you play as one of the already available characters and not a custom one, and i can definitely see why people would say that. the characters are already built with so much development that it would probably strengthen the immersion instead of leaving so much to choice (aka you!). regardless, i recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed baldurs gate 3 or any of the divinity series if you havent played it yet (here i am almost 10 years late to the dos2 bandwagon LOL).

im obsessed w this game. havent beaten it yet, but i love the story, gameplay, characters, music, everything.

this game is absolutely incredible! as someone who has always liked leon but was too scared to ever touch one of the games, this remake was my introduction to the series. im blown away by just how amazing and immersive the game is, let alone the story. im ashamed i havent picked up a resident evil title before, but now i can say ive played one of the best!!!! if youre like me, or if youre on the fence on whether you should get this game, PLEASE give it a chance! you wont regret it, stranger 💖

forgot to mention that i played this game entirely on the steam deck on low graphics settings and it only crashed 3 times 👍
