Running an gunning never felt so satisfying. (I don't believe there are any spoilers in this)

That being said, this game is better off as your third or fourth FPS VR title (that phrase sounds redundant). My recommendation to you for your entrance into this genre would be Super Hot (low skill level), Half-Life Alyx (low-mid skill level), then this; that way you can get accustomed to more realistic shooting and movement without vomiting (thanks to the movement). Train yourself to be able to move through the motion sickness when using thumbstick navigation if you haven't already, it'll be worth the pain. I'm sure there are other games you can use in place of either of my suggestions but these are the first that come to mind in order to better appreciate some of the features/mechanics this game has to offer it'd be worth while to have a bit of experience and a few hours under your belt. I enjoyed this game wholeheartedly but I did have to go lie down after torturing myself for the first hour with the controls. Once you beat the story I recommend the horde/survival modes. There are easy ways to cheese some of them with enough credits but if you reach that point the way I did it'll feel earned to just massacre your enemies with ease.

TL;DR
good shootin', have an iron stomach

With the recent purchase of a GTX 980 on 06/24/2015. Sadly as of writing this review the game is obviously broken. I'm using an R9 290 and FX 8320 (1080 all setting low or off), both OC'ed and the common issues I'm having are suttering, game freezes, dips that read 3 FPS, yes single digit, and the 30 FPS cap is unpleasant as well as unplayable. What has been noted is that the port was developed by a team of 12 people. I'm hoping that when everything is fixed, AND IT WILL BE, not only will my GTX 980 improve framerate, I will be able to use Nvidia's integrated technology and have an actual playable/enjoyable experience because it seems like a great game from what I can see while it's frozen.

A great video to watch would be the "Batman: Arkham Knight Port Report," by TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit. He has great commentary on how they handle the porting of this game.
