What the game is:
- A decent midpoint between COD and Squad
- A fun mix of arcade and sweat
- Sandbox-y and varied enough for you to play how you want to (with or without homies)
- Actively being updated

What the game is not:
- The exact spirit and feel of Battlefield 2/3
- Fully finished and bug-free
- Reasonable for the price given the level of features that need fixing/balancing still

Overall, I'd give this game an 8/10 for the sheer variety of ways to play and the entertainment provided when you are able to enjoy the game for what it is and just have fun. I hope the devs continue to listen to the community and implement feedback actively, but all the same I'd probably wait for this to go on sale if I was going to purchase it again.

Definitely not worth the money in current state. They released an update that took 4 hours to install and did nothing to fix the framerate issues (even running on a 3060, Ryzen7, 32gig RAM etc on lowest possible settings). After about 12 hours of gameplay I have finished the main storyline, and until the performance problems it will be too painful to perform trickjumps/fights/puzzling/platforming to complete all the side quests. Get this next year.
