Never played the first, and apparently you don't need to. Helldivers 2 is a very fun game. What's separating lvl 1 and lvl 50 is only weapons, so if you're good, even a level 1 can do the hardest missions lol

Click download on COD Warzone.
Sit through an unskippable ad intro. Try your best to navigate through the battlepass advertisements too.
Finally find a button to click on find game. Stuck on connecting instead of searching for game.
Find out that the game only downloads the base game and not Warzone.
Click on download Warzone DLC.
Queue up for a quad match but your team leaves because the level 500+ sees a lvl1.

No servers for SEA region, but it's playable. You'll suffer in pvp though.
Game is fun to play, especially if you have friends. If you don't have friends, maybe go exercise or touch grass instead.
Endgame not as grindy as games like black desert. Mechanics are easy to learn, though be aware that they forget to update some descriptions and content in the game. Player base is at a good number in my opinion, not too competitive with resources since it's a first come first served basis.

It's alright for this price. Everything that'd you've read in wuxia novels are there, nothing too complicated.

Cultivating relationships aren't worthwhile. Nearly no point to it as long as they are not hostile towards you.
