As a die-hard fan of Cities: Skylines with over 1000 hours in the first game, it's embarrassing to see such a mismanaged mess from Paradox and Colossal Order. It's unfortunate that a great track record of community engagement can be stained so quickly when the studio is set in it's ways and is slow to listen to the people who love their games. As it stands, Cities: Skylines 2 is a difficult to play, asset-lacking and visually uninteresting version of the first game, with no mod support and features that were promised, but don't even exist in-game. I'm hopeful that in a few years, Colossal Order will have taken some advice and made the necessary changes to make this game enjoyable, but until then, I would recommend not spending the hilariously large amount of money that is being charged for this unfinished beta test of a game.
